High-Yield Savings Account (HYSA)

A savings account that pays much more interest than a standard one.

A high-yield savings account (HYSA) pays a significantly higher interest rate than a typical bank savings account, while keeping your money safe and liquid. It is the natural home for an emergency fund or short-term savings goal: federally insured, accessible within a day or two, and still earning a real return. Rates are quoted as APY.
